Job summary

PCI Federal is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Specialist located near Scott AFB, IL, with remote options. The role focuses on CI/CD management, security integration, and observability to ensure secure, reliable software delivery.

You will collaborate across development, operations, and security teams in a dynamic environment. Preferred candidates possess 3–5 years of hands-on DevSecOps experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and an active Secret clearance.

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Selecting, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD tools and processes.
• Software Maintenance: Ensuring the deployed software product is maintained throughout its lifecycle.

• Observability: Implementing monitoring and logging to ensure the software's performance and security can be observed and analyzed.
• Collaboration: Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

The DevSecOps Specialist supports TCODE and reports to Program Manager. This position may be a combination of remote or onsite. Preference will be given to local candidates in the Scott AFB, IL/St. Louis, MO area.

The primary responsibilities of a DevSecOps Specialist include:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Selecting, deploying, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• Software Maintenance: Ensuring the deployed software product is maintained throughout its lifecycle.
• Security Integration: Embedding security practices into the development and deployment processes.
• Observability: Implementing monitoring and logging to ensure the software’s performance and security can be observed and analyzed.
• Collaboration: Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field -preferred
• Must have and maintain an active Secret security clearance
• Certifications - CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate
• Security+ required
• Possesses demonstrated knowledge (mastery preferred) in the following:
