Job summary

PCI Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist to support code pipelines, security integration, and observability. The role can be remote or onsite, with a preference for local candidates around Scott AFB, IL.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate CI/CD and onboard applications to PaaS and runtime environments while maintaining a Secret clearance. The position requires 3–5 years of hands‑on DevSecOps experience, a relevant degree, and certifications

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on DevSecOps experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field preferred.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Certifications – CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate.
• Security+ required.
• Mastery in Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, Docker, Istio, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Artifactory, and cloud‑native tools.

Job description

The DevSecOps Specialist supports TCODE and reports to Program Manager. This position may be a combination of remote or onsite. Preference will be given to local candidates in the Scott AFB, IL/St. Louis, MO area.

The Primary Responsibilities Of a DevSecOps Specialist Include

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Selecting, deploying, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• Software Maintenance: Ensuring the deployed software product is maintained throughout its lifecycle.
• Security Integration: Embedding security practices into the development and deployment processes.
• Observability: Implementing monitoring and logging to ensure the software’s performance and security can be observed and analyzed.
• Collaboration: Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field -preferred
• Must have and maintain an active Secret security clearance
• Certifications - CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate
• Security+ required
• Possesses demonstrated knowledge (mastery preferred) in the following:
