We are seeking a passionate and well-rounded Designer III / Job Captain with 8+ years of postgraduate experience and a degree in architecture. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects focused on reusing, rehabilitating, and modernizing existing structures.
In this position, you will be involved in all aspects of the project, including conducting field surveys, overseeing and coordinating design development activities, developing and detailing construction documents, and participating in construction administration activities.
As part of our collaborative office culture, you will work closely with principals, project managers, designers, consultants, clients, and other team members through regular meetings and one-on-one discussions.
This position is based in Boston, with the initial expectation of in-person work. As you grow into the role, there may be opportunities for increased workplace flexibility. The position requires some travel throughout the United States.
Jones Payne provides a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, and offers comprehensive benefits promoting financial, personal, professional, and community wellness. Key benefits include:
