Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Philadelphia seeks a Civil Engineer to join the Civil/Land Development Group. You will contribute to planning, design, permitting, and construction support for diverse site development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role requires a ABET-accredited civil engineering degree and 5–10 years of relevant experience. A PE license is preferred or obtainable within six months. U.S. citizenship or work authorization is assumed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of relevant civil/site land development experience.
• Experience with planning, design, permitting, and construction support.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the planning, design, and development of site and land development projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, reports, specifications, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Assist with construction-phase services, including reviews, site visits, and project support.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other design professionals to deliver successful projects.
