Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Civil/Land Development Engineer to join our Civil/Land Development Group.

The position offers the opportunity to lead planning, design, permitting, and construction-support for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

We value hands-on engineers who collaborate with planners, surveyors, and designers and who hold a PE license or can obtain within six months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
5-10 years of relevant civil/site land development experience.
Experience with planning, design, permitting, and construction support of development projects.
Experience working in the Mid-Atlantic region preferred.
SWM and ESC design/permits experience preferred.
PE license or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Support and lead the planning, design, and development of site and land development projects.
Prepare engineering plans, reports, specifications, and permit applications.
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
Assist with construction-phase services, including reviews, site visits, and project support.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other design professionals to deliver successful projects.
