Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore, MD seeks a mid-level Civil Engineer / Land Development Engineer to join our Civil/Land Development Department. You will lead planning, design, and development tasks for diverse site projects and prepare plans, reports, and permit applications.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and 11–15 years of relevant experience; PE license or ability to obtain within six months is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 11–15 years of experience in civil/site land development engineering.
• Experience with residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial development.
• MD/ Mid-Atlantic region project experience preferred.
• SWM and ESC design and permitting experience; PE license or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning, design, and development of site and land development projects.
• Prepare plans, reports, specifications, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and project teams.
• Assist with construction-phase services and site visits.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other design professionals.
