Job summary

LeoForce, a Chicago-based law firm, is seeking a Senior Corporate Partner Attorney to join our team. The attorney will represent corporate clients, structure and close complex transactions, and provide strategic legal guidance across a broad portfolio of matters.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD, be licensed in Illinois, and bring a proven track record of handling major deals with strong negotiation and client-management skills. A book of business is required.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in Illinois in good standing.
• At least 7 years of corporate attorney experience, ideally in a law firm.
• Proven track record handling complex business transactions.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel to corporate clients on a wide range of matters.
• Structure, negotiate, and close complex business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, JVs, and strategic alliances.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, policies, and corporate documents.
• Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private matters.
• Conduct legal research and advise clients on rights and obligations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
• Collaborate with attorneys to deliver comprehensive services.
• Stay updated with changes in corporate law and advise accordingly.
• Participate in business development to expand the firm's client base.
