Job summary

Jobot is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney to join our growing team in Clayton, MO. You will handle a diverse caseload, perform legal research, draft pleadings and contracts, and represent clients in negotiations and hearings with senior attorneys and support staff in a collaborative, professional setting.

This permanent, hybrid position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $220,000 per year, a robust benefits package, paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing CLE

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in MO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, depositions, mediations, and/or court proceedings as applicable
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients regarding case status and strategy
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and risk
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents affecting practice areas
• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management; maintain thorough, organized, and up-to-date case files
