Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Architect for our Oak Ridge Office to support design of transformative infrastructure projects in the United States. You will collaborate with a Project Architect on large efforts, and may lead smaller assignments.

The role requires architectural design excellence, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/MicroStation, and licensure in TN or a plan to obtain it within six months. Travel to project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• 5–15 years of professional work experience in architecture.
• Licensed Architect in Tennessee or ability to obtain TN licensure within six months.
• Experience designing commercial and industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of IBC, design trends, construction methodology, materials, and supplier relevance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Project Architect on large projects and potentially serve as Project Architect on smaller ones.
• Deliver projects from concept through detailed design completion within scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Follow established Amentum quality procedures and adhere to ISO 9000 / NQA-1 frameworks.
• Utilize discipline software like Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to produce design deliverables.
