Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive new business and growth across life sciences and other regulated manufacturing environments. You will identify, qualify, shape, and close project-based opportunities involving automation, machine vision, MES, and validation services.

You will engage cross-functional teams to understand pain points, shape solutions, and deliver value-driven proposals, maintaining CRM discipline and strong stakeholder relationships through the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial automation, systems integration, engineering services, or related technical field.
• Proven experience selling complex, project-based solutions rather than standalone products.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, qualify, and win new business opportunities within regulated manufacturing markets.
• Develop and expand relationships with engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, validation, IT/OT, procurement, and site leadership stakeholders.
• Lead consultative discovery to understand objectives, constraints, pain points, and value drivers.
• Translate customer needs into qualified opportunities involving automation, controls, machine vision, and digital manufacturing.
• Partner with pre-sales engineering, project management, and delivery teams to develop credible scopes and proposals.
• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, pipeline qualification, and forecast accuracy.
• Represent Catalyx at customer sites and industry events to strengthen market presence.
