Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the MICU at Atrium Health Stanly. This 24-hour-per-week night shift (7p-7a) includes holidays and weekends. Compensation ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, with eligibility for benefits.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Nurses must have a Board-approved nursing education program and an active RN license, with BLS on file.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in required states; BLS.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with patient handling.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the team.
• Promote a culture of safety and maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Provide appropriate delegation to team members and ensure ethical patient care.
• Maintain professional development and required certifications.
