Job summary

ChristianaCare seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. The role offers full-time flex scheduling (36 hrs/week) with night shifts and day rotations, in a high-acuity setting where patient advocacy and teamwork drive outcomes.

You will apply critical thinking, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and use advanced monitoring to deliver comprehensive critical care, aiming to improve patient outcomes each day.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments.
