Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in NC or eligible for NC licensure.
• BSN required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum two years nursing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager to enhance nursing practice and department delivery.
• Assist with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinate regular staff communication and huddles across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, staff, and physicians to assess care and satisfaction.
• Delegate care tasks within policy to appropriate team members.
• Identify outcomes and monitor progress toward department goals.
• Provide direct nursing care and administer treatments as needed.
• Coordinate patient flow and staffing based on acuity and volume.
