Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a MICU RN for Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN. You will assess, plan, perform, and document critical nursing care while guiding unlicensed personnel and supporting providers.

A focus on safety, therapeutic environment, and effective communication with patients and families is essential. Required include Associate Degree in Nursing, RN licensure in MN or WI, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS training within 6 months, and at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license MN or WI (Minnesota Board of Nursing or Wisconsin) required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Stroke care NIHSS to be completed within 6 months of start date.
• Minimum 1 year RN critical care (ICU or ED) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional nursing care.
• Provide work direction for unlicensed personnel and oversee nursing care.
• Carry out provider orders and assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment and coordinate care.
• Explain and communicate patient care services to patients, families, and health professionals.
