Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Current Minnesota RN license.
• CPR certification (within 30 days of start date).
• ACLS-required for all direct patient care RNs.
• PALS/PEARS or ENPC required for ER, ICU, PACU, SDS.
• TNCC required for ER & ICU.
• STABLE required for Birth Care.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess data with input from patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement a care plan with outcomes with patient and caregivers.
• Evaluate progress and adjust the plan to meet outcomes and patient preferences.
• Complete timely and thorough patient documentation per service area standards.
• Apply Evidence Based Practice and Quality of Care Standards.
• Demonstrate safe patient care initiatives and stewardship of resources.
• Participate in committees/projects to improve efficiency and care delivery.
• Maintain professional development through mandatory education and competencies.
• Demonstrate punctuality and attendance; supervise support staff as needed.
• Maintain professionalism in workplace interactions.
