Job description

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Driver to join our elite team in Redwood City, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Pay & Benefits
  • A base pay of $28.78 for non‑CDL holders.
  • A base pay of $31.43 for CDL Class B holders with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
  • Sick days: 5 days.
  • Holidays: 7 standard.
  • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safety‑Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Passenger Care: Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
  • Vehicle Vigilance: Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 21 years or older.
  • Held a valid driver’s license for the past 3 years.
  • Valid driver licence. Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
  • Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity – 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
