Job Description

Infotrend, Inc. is seeking a Microstrategy BI Analyst to play a key role in a high-performing Agile Business Intelligence contract delivering MicroStrategy Business Intelligence services for our federal government client. The analyst will analyze, document, and validate business processes, systems, and requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, creating detailed reports, and guiding junior analysts.

This position requires experience with the MicroStrategy Cloud for Government (MCG) environment and/or AWS GovCloud environment.

Responsibilities

1. Requirements Analysis and Documentation: Gather and analyze business requirements, ensure understanding of objectives, and document business processes and technical components.
2. Data Analysis: Extract insights from data sets to identify trends and patterns.
3. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, maintaining documentation for current processes and requirements.
4. System Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate solutions against requirements.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, presenting findings and recommendations clearly.
6. Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in program/project management, business intelligence/data analysis, Agile, SDLC, or IT strategic planning.
• Experience with MicroStrategy Cloud for Government and/or AWS GovCloud.
• Skills in MicroStrategy, Python, Data Visualization, R, VBA, Jira.
• Microstrategy Department or Enterprise Analyst certification.
• Strong IT background with data management and reporting experience.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to executives and stakeholders.
• Experience in gathering and documenting requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile environment with evolving priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Sole U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
