Job summary

Aktion Associates is seeking a Microsoft 365 Principal Consultant to lead client engagements across Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI adoption, governance, and digital transformation. You will guide assessments, workshops, and strategic planning for Teams, SharePoint, and Modern Work to drive adoption and value.

You will advise on licensing, security, and cost optimization while collaborating with account teams to advance AI/ML offerings. Remote work with up to 20% travel is supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing/implementing or consulting on Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365: Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Security, Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot, AI, automation, and business productivity use cases.
• Strong consulting, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
• Knowledge of licensing models, cloud consumption, governance, and security frameworks.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions; MS certifications preferred.

• Assist sales and delivery teams with solution design and executive presentations.

Microsoft 365 Principal Consultant

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead customer-facing consulting engagements focused on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, AI adoption, governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Conduct assessments, workshops, and strategic planning sessions for Microsoft technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, Modern Work, and collaboration solutions.
• Deliver Copilot readiness, deployment, governance, and adoption initiatives that help customers maximize the value of AI investments.
• Advise clients on Microsoft licensing, cloud consumption, security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and business leaders, providing recommendations, roadmaps, and technology transformation guidance.
• Support the development and expansion of Aktion's Microsoft and AI consulting service offerings, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Microsoft account teams and partner resources to identify funding programs, co-sell opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist sales and delivery teams with solution design, proposal development, executive presentations, and internal knowledge sharing.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Security, and Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI technologies, automation solutions, and business productivity use cases.
• Strong consulting, workshop facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic recommendations, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation plans.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft licensing models, cloud consumption practices, governance, and security frameworks.
• Ability to build relationships with both technical and business stakeholders and translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, AI, or Copilot, along with experience in a consulting, MSP, VAR, or technology services environment, preferred.
