Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions organization in a hybrid role. You will administer Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange, manage Teams policies and Direct Routing, and implement PowerShell automation for onboarding, mailbox setup, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate brings 5 years of infrastructure experience, strong Exchange and Teams expertise, and knowledge of Azure AD, MFA, and security, with a track record of collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of relevant Infrastructure or Systems Engineering experience.
• Substantial Exchange hybrid and Teams expertise, and experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
• Required knowledge spans Exchange architecture, Teams policies and voice, Azure AD identity and security, Conditional Access, MFA, PowerShell, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, networking, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Exchange platform ownership: manage Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server in a hybrid environment, including Azure AD Connect, mail flow, mailboxes, distribution groups, routing policies, server health, queues, retention and archiving.
• Teams and collaboration administration: enterprise Teams policies, meetings, client updates, and Teams Phone System capabilities such as Direct Routing, dial plans, call queues, normalization rules, and E911 services; maintain integrations with Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Automation and operational support: PowerShell automation for onboarding/offboarding, license and mailbox setup, Teams configuration, batch changes, health reporting, usage analysis, monitoring, configuration management, patching, and backups; Tier 3 troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Upgrades and cross-team delivery: plan and execute Exchange updates, mailbox migrations, new Microsoft 365 feature deployments, tenant-to-tenant migrations; create runbooks, training, and collaborate with Network, Security, and Help Desk teams.
