Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Hartford, CT is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to administer and enhance our enterprise Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services. You will own Exchange Online, manage on-premises Exchange in a hybrid setup, and drive Teams policy and Phone System configurations while collaborating across IT to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Core duties include automation with PowerShell for onboarding/offboarding, mailbox provisioning, and health

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
5 years of relevant Infrastructure or Systems Engineering experience.
Substantial Exchange hybrid and Teams expertise, and experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
Required knowledge spans Exchange architecture, Teams policies and voice, Azure AD identity and security, Conditional Access, MFA, PowerShell, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, networking, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Manage Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server in a hybrid environment.
Oversee Teams policies, meetings, client updates, and Teams Phone System capabilities.
Utilize PowerShell for onboarding/offboarding, license and mailbox setup, configurations, health reporting and monitoring; provide Tier 3 troubleshooting.
Plan and execute Exchange updates, mailbox migrations, and Microsoft 365 feature deployments; document runbooks and collaborate with Network, Security, and Help Desk teams.
