Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking an IT professional to prepare the application environment for receipt and implementation of one or more applications, configure software, automate deployment where possible, monitor and repair the application across environments, and coordinate with developers and vendors to report defects and fixes.

You will support installations, environment testing, and automation, while ensuring security, reporting, and scheduling tools are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 3+ years application support or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years experience in Agile methodologies preferred
• Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week
• Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Independently provide technical support for application issues and outages, interfacing with development teams and vendors
• Monitor end user issues per IT service level expectations and escalate when needed
• Maintain and renew security certificates and address environmental security vulnerabilities
• Manage creation and support of job scheduling functions for the application
• Create custom reports using report writing tools to support the application
• Support application installation, configuration, and progression through environments
• Manage creation and implementation of environmental and application alerts
• Prepare environments for testing new code releases and support testing activity
• Perform other duties as assigned
