Job summary

System One is seeking a Microsoft Systems Administrator to support, secure, and optimize Microsoft 365 environments. The role focuses on administering O365 services, email security, identity and endpoint management, and implementing robust security controls across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Intune, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, and Exchange Online, and will collaborate with IT teams to maintain secure, compliant, and reliable Microsoft-based services.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands-on with Intune, Defender, Purview, CA policies, Entra ID, Exchange Online and email security.
• Experience with Windows desktop environments and cloud services.
• Knowledge of identity/access management, endpoint security, and Microsoft security best practices.
• Experience with Mimecast, Azure, or Windows Server administration.
• Experience in regulated environments with compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Configure Conditional Access policies and MFA.
• Administer Intune for endpoint management and deployment.
• Monitor Defender alerts and respond to incidents.
• Support Purview data protection, retention, and compliance.
• Manage email security and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Manage Windows endpoints and assist with server administration.
• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain documentation and support IT projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for secure services.
