Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a System Architect 3 focused on Microsoft 365 messaging and workforce communications.

You will define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for Exchange Server and Exchange Online, lead architecture reviews, and partner with Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure collaboration capabilities. You will mentor engineers, drive cloud modernization, and oversee PCI-DSS compliance programs across large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Hybrid Messaging Architecture, and enterprise email platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Entra ID (Azure AD), and collaboration technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Purview Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, and Sensitivity Labels.
• Proven experience architecting PCI-compliant messaging solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of PowerShell, Graph API, Defender, and messaging security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration platforms.
• Provide technical leadership for Exchange Server/Online, Entra ID, and related services.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and solution design sessions.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Security, Compliance, Risk, and Infrastructure teams.
• Develop governance frameworks, design patterns, and integration strategies across messaging platforms.
• Lead PCI-DSS compliance assessments, audits, and remediation with QSAs and regulators.
• Drive cloud modernization, tenant integration, and enterprise messaging migrations.
• Mentor engineers and serve as escalation point for complex architectural and compliance challenges.
