You will manage TEM, LSCM, and two-photon microscopy facilities, train users, supervise contracted services, and guide study design, data collection, and budgeting for core facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree related field required or Master's Degree related field preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of research experience in a lab setting.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: independent decisions, scientific imagination, technical problem solving, organization, analytics, budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all lab supply and equipment purchasing and maintenance.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities.
• Train staff in specialized lab techniques.
• Assist with subject scheduling.
• Provide input on strategy based on industry trends.
• Apply project management techniques to keep initiatives on track.
• Contribute to scientific literature and present data at meetings.
• Carry out independent research projects with sophisticated techniques.
