Job summary

PowerStack Microgrids seeks a Project Developer to lead onsite energy infrastructure projects from initial engagement through contract execution. You will work with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Construction to evaluate feasibility and craft technical and financial solutions.

Responsibilities include coordinating utilities and permitting, developing models for ownership and PPAs, and supporting negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3-7 years of commercial or industrial solar project development experience.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of commercial and industrial solar, storage, and microgrid projects from qualification through financial close.
• Evaluate project feasibility, energy production, interconnection, permitting, and economics.
• Develop technical and financial models supporting customer ownership, PPAs, ESAs, and other structures.
• Coordinate engineering, utility, permitting, and third-party development activities.
• Support customer presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor emerging technologies, utility programs, and incentive opportunities to improve project economics.
