Job summary

PowerSecure in Durham, NC seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead manufacturing project lifecycles, ensuring on-time delivery and budget control. You will coordinate with stakeholders, define scope, and manage resources to achieve project goals.

The role requires a PMP or active pursuit, 3+ years in manufacturing/construction PM, and proficiency with ERP (IFS/SAP) and CAD tools, plus strong MS Office skills. On-site, full-time position in a dynamic energy services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP Certification or actively pursuing.
• 3+ years’ demonstrated Project Management ability in manufacturing or construction.
• Knowledge of ERP (IFS or SAP) and CAD systems (AutoCAD).
• Very strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to solve difficult coordination problems with limited information.
• Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office, Project, Word and Excel.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with teams and stakeholders through the entire lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Organize and delegate tasks across project teams to ensure successful execution.
• Ensure project costs are controlled at or below budget and deliverables on time.
• Resolve blockers and adapt projects to avoid off-plan performance.
• Motivate and manage the team; resolve conflicts and foster collaboration.
• Meet with stakeholders to define goals and requirements; ensure technical feasibility.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress.
• Manage resources and provide timely status updates.
