Job summary

ERock seeks a meticulous Microgrid Mechanical Technician to service multiple generators and power systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Volvo Penta and PSI Marathon generator ends, diagnose issues, and coordinate with Area Managers to meet on demand electricity requirements.

The role requires 3+ years mechanical and/or electrical experience, willingness to work in hot, humid environments, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• College or equivalent training preferred.
• Operate company vehicles safely and pass MVR check.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety discipline.
• Flexible with on-call shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repairs of various diesel engines and generator ends.
• Utilize manufacturer software to diagnose engine and control-system problems.
• Coordinate with Area Managers to ensure generators meet customer requirements.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs as needed.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.
