Job summary

ERock is seeking a detailed-oriented Microgrid Mechanical Technician to maintain and service our power generation equipment. The role is remote within the Corpus Christi area and reports to the Area Manager.

You will coordinate with managers to keep generators ready to meet customer demand, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance as needed. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, a preference for Volvo Penta engine work, and the ability to

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical and/or electrical experience required.
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Must be detail-oriented and diligent in execution.
• Proficient with computers and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repairs of generators and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot engine and control system problems using manufacturer software.
• Coordinate with Area Managers to ensure generators are serviced and operational for customers.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely for business purposes.
