Job summary

ERock in the San Antonio area seeks a detail-oriented Microgrid Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance on multiple generators and coordinate with Area Managers to ensure on-demand power for customers.

The role requires mechanical and/or electrical experience, the ability to operate company vehicles safely, and a willingness to join a rotating on-call schedule. Physical and safety requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• College or equivalent training preferred (military acceptable).
• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines, PSI engines, and Marathon generator ends.
• Learn and use manufacturer software to troubleshoot engine and control problems.
• Coordinate with Area Managers for on-demand power requirements.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair tasks; identify maintenance needs during inspections.
• Follow safety and company procedures for communication and documentation.
