Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida seeks a Program Coordinator for its MicroEnterprise program in Fort Myers. The role coordinates entrepreneurship training, events, and community partnerships, with travel across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, education, nonprofit management, or small business support are required.
• Budget monitoring or basic financial management experience is preferred.
• Provide outstanding customer service to participants, partners, and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Passion for helping entrepreneurs and strengthening local communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn participant database systems and reporting software.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and events simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entrepreneurship training programs, workshops, and special events.
• Recruit, enroll, and support Facilitators, Business Coaches and aspiring entrepreneurs' suitability.
• Schedule classrooms, speakers, coaches, and community partners.
• Maintain participant records and prepare program reports.
• Assist with budget tracking, and monitoring program expenses.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, community organizations, volunteers, and business resource partners.
• Assist with planning graduation ceremonies, pitch competitions, and other signature events.
• Maintain daily content on social media platforms.
• Must have and maintain a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a flexible schedule and work nights and weekends as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
