Job summary

Urban League of Broward County is seeking a Small Business Coach/Program Coordinator to unite the Entrepreneurship Center activities, arrange events, and provide client consultation. The role requires a 2-year degree minimum, 2+ years in small business support, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Valid Florida driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or related field.
• Associate’s degree with 4 years relevant experience considered.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as business needs warrant.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; data management; CRM experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Center’s signature small business cohort programs, including scheduling, communication, logistics, and participant support.
• Provide one-on-one business coaching and technical assistance to entrepreneurs: strengthen business plans, marketing strategies, operations, and readiness.
• Review and track consultant case notes, ensuring client files are complete and in the CRM.
• Support preparation of reports on program outcomes and client progress.
• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound callers and walk-in clients.
• Conduct orientations, workshops, and introductory sessions for entrepreneurs, guiding them to the appropriate program or service.
