Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee the Adult Day Training site, ensuring compliance with Medicaid Waiver Life Skills Development Level 3 services and applicable standards. You will hire and train staff, manage budgets, recordkeeping, and coordinate services to promote participant outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with external partners, supervision of program staff, and maintaining accurate participant and staff files to support quality care and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social, behavioral or rehabilitative science or related field, or an associate degree with years of experience.
  • At least one year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Life Skills Development 3 Medicaid Waiver and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily program staff, participants, operations and service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid Waiver, APD and CARF standards.

Job Title: Program Supervisor – Pathways to Opportunity

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Program Supervisor to manage the overall system of supports and services provided to the individuals, personnel and fiscal management at the Adult Day Training site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: hiring the highest quality of staff and their complete orientation and ongoing training, assuring all aspects of the program of services and supports are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to meet and exceed regulatory standards, fiscal oversight, case management, reporting, managing participant and staff files, and assuring accurate record keeping. As appropriate, interact with external sources to increase community opportunities and integration for program participants. The Program Supervisor will ensure the program meets Medicaid Waiver requirements for Life Skills Development Level 3 services, Agency for Persons with Disabilities and Grants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily supervision (hiring, counseling, etc.) over all Program staff, program participants, program operations and service delivery.
  • Maintains an accurate awareness and good working knowledge of the Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver, Qlarant Standards, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, applicable Florida Statutes, AHCA, and CARF Standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, promoting effective team communication and serve as primary contact with all team members for individuals served.
  • Receive incident report and complete all required communications and documentation timely.
  • Monitor individual's served attendance records and address attendance issues.
  • Develop/coordinate quarterly calendars, calendar assessment, class satisfaction surveys, class outlines and curriculum.
  • Maintain all training records for program staff and coordinate staff training.
  • Provide direct service coverage to ensure seamless operation of the program as needed. Secure replacement employees for all call offs and staffing emergencies and/or provide coverage to vacancies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy for all Program Fund accounts within the site, meeting Fund Policy and Procedure.
  • Track program expenses to stay within budgetary parameters.
  • Complete and maintain required trainings under the Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver Handbook and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. within required timeframe.
  • Maintain order/organization of program site/van and address safety issues/concerns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in education, or a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science, or related field and one year related experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a person rendering this service shall have an associate's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in education, or a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science, or related field and three years of experience. Experience in one of the previously mentioned fields shall substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Life Skills Development 3 service outlined in the Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver Handbooks, Qlarant standards, and when applicable CARF standards.
  • Valid Florida Driver's license and approved driving history is required.
  • Able to lift at least 50lbs.
