MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Salt Lake City is seeking an Operations Lead, Microbiology to oversee efficient microbiology operations and ensure high-quality testing of food samples. You will work with department leadership to maintain safety, quality systems, and timely results in a fast-growing environment.

This full-time role requires an associates degree or equivalent with 2–5 years of lab experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience required; bachelor's preferred.
• 2–5 years relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic knowledge of food microbiology and lab safety.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, analyze, perform, and assist with microbiology testing of samples.
• Ensure opening/closing tasks are completed per quality systems.
• Distribute projects to department staff to ensure efficient workflows.
• Support lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate department needs with other teams and management.
• Provide training and supervise staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements.
