Job summary

AtlantiCare in New Jersey seeks a Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory testing procedures and interpret results according to established procedures, ensuring quality standards are met.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology (or equivalent CLIA qualifications), ASCP eligible or AMT, and active participation in required CEUs; you will support quality control and performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or accredited equivalent.
• ASCP eligible or AMT certification required/maintained if not grandfathered.
• 12 CEUs annually required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing procedures and provide result interpretation.
• Review and verify results to ensure data validity and apply QC procedures.
• Assist with equipment evaluation, troubleshooting, and inventory monitoring.
• Collaborate with supervisor/manager to resolve procedural problems and support improvements.
