Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field (required).
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes workflow to meet customer needs, including internal customers and co-workers; aims to meet or exceed service expectations.
• Acts as a role model for Service Excellence; maintains professional composure and works with the team to achieve high customer service scores.
• Evaluates specimens and organizes workflow to support efficient testing and rapid turnaround; performs moderate and/or high complexity testing with QC review.
• Performs preventive maintenance on lab equipment and manages supplies; maintains test records and supports quality assurance activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
