Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology including a clinical internship or BS in related discipline with one year supervised clinical laboratory experience.
• NYS CLT license or eligibility; professional accreditation preferred.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical calculation abilities for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests in Microbiology under supervision.
• Analyzes and interprets results; repeats tests as needed and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintains instrument performance.
• Monitors inventory and adheres to QC procedures.
