Job summary

Qualifications

• Two qualification pathways exist; education cannot be substituted by work experience.
• Bachelor's degree with NAACLS/ASCP internship or MT with AMT; certificationASCP/AMT within 15 months from hire.
• BLS certification may be required within 30 days from hire depending on patient care performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform, verify accuracy and report results of routine and complex lab procedures on body tissues and fluids.
• Assist with evaluating new instruments/methods, reagent prep, QC information, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist team lead with apheresis procedures, bone marrows, coordinating educational sessions, computer operations, and QC/improvement activities.
