Qualifications

• BA/BS in science related field with 1+ years relevant experience in diagnostic or microbiology laboratory setting.
• Fundamental knowledge in microbiology.
• Fundamental knowledge of classical bacteriology culture methods.
• Basic working knowledge of molecular biology techniques and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process clinical samples in a timely manner and maintain bench records.
• Perform bacteriology and molecular tests to support testing for internal/external customers.
• Enter data into LIMS and ensure data integrity.
• Assist in parasite-related and multidisciplinary tasks as needed.
• Adhere to USDA regulations and internal quality assurance guidelines.
