Job summary

Ceva Animal Health is seeking an SSIU Laboratory Technician II to join our Lenexa, KS team. You will apply general microbiology and molecular biology methods to ensure timely processing, identification, and results of clinical samples.

You will support the Scientific Support and Investigation Unit with data organization, report preparation, and reagent ordering. You will perform bacteriology, virology, and molecular tasks, maintain inventory, follow SOPs, and contribute to safety and quality

Qualifications

• MS in Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or related field preferred.
• BA/BS in science with 1–3 years relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience in virology/microbiology or molecular labs is desirable.
• Proven ability to work with hazardous materials and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Process clinical samples promptly and accurately per SOPs.
• Provide general microbiology, molecular biology, and administrative support.
• Maintain bench records and inventory; prepare reports for customers.
• Assist in data tracking of bacterial, viral, and molecular results.
• Operate related laboratory equipment and ensure quality control.
