Eurofins US Food, Feed, & Supplement Testing in Lime Springs, IA is seeking a microbiology supervisor for a mid-shift position (12pm–9pm), including evenings and weekends. The role requires hands-on leadership in a busy lab and adherence to quality systems.

You will supervise daily operations, assign tasks, review data for accuracy, and coordinate instrument maintenance, while supporting the Business Unit Manager and promoting safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma plus 5-7 years of laboratory experience.
• BS Degree plus 2-3 years laboratory experience.
• Experience in laboratory procedures, data analysis, and technical writing.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the microbiology department.
• Schedule, supervise, and train laboratory staff.
• Perform timely and accurate analysis of client samples.
• Review and evaluate test data for accuracy and SOP compliance.
• Initiate corrective actions for non-conformances and document outcomes.
• Coordinate major instrument repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory quality procedures.
