Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for the Second/Third Shift to oversee daily operations in the hospital's core laboratory. Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Laboratory, you will participate in committees and ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Baccalaureate degree in medical technology, biology, or chemistry, with five years of laboratory experience and at least one year in a supervisory

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree in relevant sciences (medical technology, biology, or chemistry).
• Minimum five years laboratory experience and one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Medical Technologist certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred; specialty registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Second/Third Shift section of the laboratory.
• Participate in committees pertaining to Second/Third Shift.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, standards and accrediting/licensing requirements.
