Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician in the Denver area. You will perform technical procedures in clinical Microbiology under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CAP/JCAHO/CLIA/AABB/OSHA standards. Eligible candidates hold MLT (ASCP) certification or can obtain it within 6 months and have a related bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Current MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in related science is required.
• Minimum of two years clinical Microbiology experience is desirable.
• Ability to make independent decisions quickly and accurately; capable of handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform all technical microbiology procedures per standards set by regulatory agencies.
• Maintain proficiency in procedures and protocols; ensure specimen quality and validity of culture results.
