Certified Group seeks a Lab Lead to coordinate daily microbiology testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples. Lead activities, oversee workflows, troubleshoot, and ensure data integrity and safety across shifts.

You will guide staff, enforce SOPs, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced laboratory setting. A strong background in regulated food microbiology is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a microbiology testing laboratory.
• Demonstrated experience in regulated environments (ISO/IEC 17025, FDA, USDA).
• Proven ability to lead workflow, influence peers, provide technical guidance, and train staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety microbiology and pathogen testing methods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced and non-routine microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples.
• Serve as primary technical resource and escalation point for testing issues.
• Review and verify test data, calculations, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support method implementation, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure testing activities meet SOPs, regulatory requirements, and customer specs.
