Job summary

The role requires NYSDOH licensure, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and 1 year in a clinical lab. You will contribute to quality control, calibration, and training of staff, in a full-time, on-site capacity at NYU Langone Health.

Qualifications

• NYSDOH Licensed as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or biology/chemistry from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of clinical lab experience; internship acceptable.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory tests and procedures.
• Ensures quality control, instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Documents results and communicates critical values per protocol.
• Mentors residents and new technologists as directed.
