Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our accredited lab team in New York. The role involves processing specimens, performing tests, calculating and reporting results, and maintaining instrument quality controls.

The successful candidate will have NYSDOH licensure as a CLT, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least one year of lab experience. Excellent communication skills are required, and ASCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from NYS registered program or Bachelor's in biology/chemistry/physical sciences from an accredited college/university or NYSOP grandfathered education.
• One year clinical laboratory experience (internship acceptable).
• Effective interpersonal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all routine and complex laboratory tests and procedures.
• Follows approved policies for recording and reporting results.
• Maintains quality control, instrument maintenance, calibration and preventive maintenance.
