FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced engineer to lead troubleshooting and repair of complex probe cards and sub-assemblies, while supporting manufacturing engineering and capacity upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 years of progressive experience in relevant engineering roles.
Experience with probe cards troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex probe cards and sub-assemblies.
Support Manufacturing Engineering activities by recognizing, prioritizing, and acting improvement opportunities.
Coach and train technicians to develop teamwork, leadership, and technical skills.
Participate in tests and experiments to improve production processes or develop new products and processes.
Support first article probe cards including mechanical substrate alignment and sub-assembly, tooling introduction, setup and verification, metrology steps, and rework.
Project manage and participate in assembly equipment hardware and software upgrades based on quality and throughput goals.
