Job summary

Diversified Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Miami, Florida team in a full-time, onsite capacity. The PT will develop personalized treatment plans, evaluate function, supervise assistants, and document care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes adherence to best practices, patient education, and ongoing professional development in a supportive rehab facility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably acute care or home care.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, maintaining good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for community-based tasks.
• Passion for clinical excellence and enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, manage pain, and restore muscle function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical function using diagnostic methods and assess home environments for independence.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure proper execution of plans.
• Administer therapies including manual exercises, traction, and other physical agents per client needs.
• Document clinical records: evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, educate clients and families on therapy goals and home exercises.
• Maintain compliance with policies and state laws; complete clinical and payroll documentation promptly.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay updated on best PT practices.
