Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver high-quality inpatient rehabilitation services.

The role requires evaluating patients, setting goals, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning. Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning including education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient’s response and modify treatment during sessions.
• Complete documentation according to department policies.
• Participate in seminars and in-services.
