Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer fluent in Spanish for a museum location in Miami, FL. You will provide customer service, monitor facilities, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, welcoming presence.

The role offers flexible scheduling with a focus on unarmed patrols, strong communication, and adherence to security procedures. Must be 18+ and able to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public museum location.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating per protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in galleries, public spaces, entrances, and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor flow and observe exhibits, restricted areas, and facilities; report issues to staff.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with museum personnel and emergency responders as needed.
