Job summary

Michigan Environment, Greak Lakes and Energy (EGLE) seeks a Business Analyst to support the Agency with project and work request needs, acting as the liaison between the Agency and project stakeholders. You will facilitate elicitation and process modeling to develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience conducting business process review and requirements elicitation with documentation and process modeling.
• 5+ years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development projects.
• 2+ years facilitating discussions with senior management to determine strategy, roadmaps, and consensus.
• 2+ years working on IT solution projects for public use.
• 2+ years experience developing or complying with statements of work and other work agreements/contracts.
• 1+ years working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

NOTE: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Wednesdays and Thursdays are required onsite days. We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT. However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.

• Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both project and work request needs for the Agency.
• This person will be a critical member of the Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team.
• Task: Being the liaison between the Agency and the project stakeholders
• Task: Provide expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Self-directed, well organized, confident in their ability to build relationships
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Quick to come up to speed on new assignments, and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.

Skills Required

• 7 years - Experience conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling
• 5+ years - Experience developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
• 2+ years - Experience working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
• 2 years - Experience working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use
• 2+ years - Experience supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
• 1+ years - Experience working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
